FacebookReelDown is a free online tool that helps people save publicly shared Facebook Reels, videos and stories directly to their phone or computer. We built it to solve a simple, everyday problem: Facebook doesn't offer a built-in "save video" button, and most people just want a quick, no-nonsense way to keep a copy of a clip they enjoyed.
Paste a public Facebook link, and FacebookReelDown fetches the original video file and gives you a direct download — in HD, without a watermark, and without requiring an account. If you only need the audio, you can convert the same video straight to MP3.
We don't access private accounts, bypass privacy settings, or store personal data about the videos you download. FacebookReelDown only works with content that has already been shared publicly on Facebook. We are an independent project and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meta Platforms, Inc. in any way.
We believe a tool this simple shouldn't require sign-up forms or subscriptions. FacebookReelDown is, and will remain, free to use for personal purposes.
