Whether it's a video a friend shared, a clip from a public page, or a live replay you want to keep, downloading a Facebook video doesn't need to be complicated. Here's the free, no-install way to do it.

Step 1: Find the Video's Link

Open the video on Facebook — desktop or mobile both work. Tap the Share button (or the three-dot menu on mobile) and choose Copy Link. On desktop, you can also right-click the video and select Copy Video URL.
